Hubballi: Bengaluru-based budget carrier Air Pegasus plans to scale up its operations by introducing another flight between the state capital and Hubballi. It is expected to take a final decision by next week.
Air Pegasus started flight services to Hubballi in April. At present, its flights are operating at an occupancy rate of 75-80 per cent. “The company is firm on introducing another flight on the route as it had promised earlier. The details of its schedule will be decided by next week,” Air Pegasus managing director Shyson Thomas said.
According to sources, the second flight was to begin operations on Wednesday, but there was an unexpected delay in getting the green signal from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. “They may start the service within a fortnight,” an official told Express.
TruJet’s Plan: Hyderabad-based low-cost carrier TruJet, a part of Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd, too is preparing to introduce flight services to Hubballi.
