IATA slams DIAL for high charges

NEW DELHI: International Air Transport Association (IATA) has slammed Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd (DIAL) for not reducing aeronautical charges as directed by the Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) last year. In 2012, AERA had given DIAL 340% hike in user charges, which it had implemented immediately, while last year the authority had sought 78.4% reduction in charges which the airport operator challenged and did not implement.
