Chennai: Air passengers have to reach well ahead of the scheduled departure time of their flights at the Chennai airport as security has been stepped up at both the terminals from Monday.
Security has been tightened as part of arrangements for Independence Day celebrations and all passengers are frisked and their baggage screened.
