New Delhi: A chargesheet will be filed on Thursday against an immigration officer at the Delhi International Airport after a woman from Bangalore accused him of sexual harassment in March 2015. The officer Vinod Kumar will be produced in a Delhi. He was arrested for verbally harassing the woman passenger Ramona Crasta who took a flight to Hong Kong on March 18 from Delhi.
The Home Ministry had already suspended the officer after the allegations.
According to the complaint, the officer not only harassed her during the immigration process at the desk, but also by following her along at the escalator, between the domestic and international transfer.
The incident took place when the woman was at the immigration counter before she boarded the flight for Hong Kong where she had to meet her husband.
