Coimbatore: As part of the valuation process, a team of officials from the Revenue Department on Tuesday visited the land near the Coimbatore International Airport (CIA) to be acquired for the expansion of the airport to fix the value of land.
Gunashekharan S, Special District Revenue Officer, Airport Land Acquisition, Tahsildars Jayapal A and Gandhimathi V, and surveyor Subrahmanyan P, were part of the team. The team cross-checked the survey number of the land, its structure and market value.
The valuation process of the 3 & 4 blocks of Uppilipalayam will be over in 10 days and the first valuation report will be submitted to the government once it is over. Valuation process is going on in 19 blocks, and in a phased-manner the valuation report of other blocks will also be submitted.
