Kozhikode: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will visit Kozhikode in a few days to discuss issues concerning the Calicut International Airport. M.I. Shanavas, MP, said this while inaugurating a ‘Samaraponkala’ on Sunday. The ‘Samaraponkala’ was organised as part of an ongoing protest, demanding immediate steps to resume the renovation of the airport runway.
The Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Malabar Development Forum have been on an indefinite protest in Kozhikode for the last 6 days in this connection.
