Delhi, Bangalore airport hoax bomb caller murdered his wife

A day after the bomb scare in Bangalore and Delhi airport after a hoax bomb call, the police found out that a techie from Bangalore had made the calls and wanted to frame his neighbour. However, the case took an unusual turn during the investigations when MG Gokul also confessed to murdering his wife.

Gokul on Saturday called the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) airport and also sent WhatsApp messages claiming bombs were planted on three flights including one international flight heading to Saudi Arabia.
Police said that the techie was using his neighbour's SIM card to make the calls. During the investigations it was revealed that Gokul had married a woman from West Bengal around seven years ago and also had a child with her. However, the couple started getting into fights and things between them turned bad. The police sources also said that Gokul has started showing interest in his neighbour's wife who lived in the same complex, according to Deccan Herald.

Gokul murdered his wife on July 27 when she was sleeping at night. He told police the next morning that she had committed suicide while he was sleeping. Although police found this suspicious as there were marks on his wife's body, the case wasn't taken ahead as there was no complaint lodged against anyone. The police were then forced to register a case of suspicious death under Section 174 (C) of the IPC with the Madiwala police station on July 28.
