New Delhi: Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has won the award of the Best Airport (under class X cities) at National Tourism Awards (NTA) for the year 2013-14, Delhi International Airport Ltd said in a release.
"There were two categories of awards for Best Airport. One award for Class X cities- Delhi, Greater Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru. The other award was for Rest of India," DIAL said in a release.
The release added that the airport was judged on Tourist-friendly infrastructure, maintenance and upkeep of the airport, adaptation of eco-friendly practices, availability of transport facility from airport to nearest city centre, among others.
