Dressing for flights

When on board or in international travel lounges, I would notice how well-dressed some of the travellers were. They looked trendy and comfortable. That’s when I decided to put a little thought into my travel wardrobe. It really isn’t that hard. Start with the weather in your city. We invariably tend to travel to colder places in the summer months. If you land up at the airport in your woollens, you’re bound to be sweating even before you take off. While it’s important to keep comfort in mind, it doesn’t hurt to add a little style to your travel outfit.
Consider these the next time you travel.
Wear clothes that are comfortable. A comfortable pair of trousers, teamed with a smart top, is a great choice. Choose a fabric blend that does not attract static (read polyester) as they tend to stand upright and can be very embarrassing.
Don’t wear tight jeans or tight pants that inhibit blood circulation in any way.
You want to carry your boots on your holiday and they don’t fit in your luggage. So, the only other way out you think is to wear them on. Definitely, a bad idea. Wear shoes that are easy to take off at the security checks. Avoid ones with laces. Tying and retying laces can get quite exhaustive. Wear flat shoes, as there may be a considerable amount of walking in the terminals.
