Indira Gandhi International Airport shop gives liquor lovers a high

Be it a Dalmore Single Malt whisky worth more than Rs 20 lakh a bottle, or any other high-end brand, liquor lovers are going bonkers at the Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) counter at the Indira Gandhi International Airport to avail an easy purchase of their favourite labels at equated monthly installments.

The facility has drastically shot up the sales of the high-end products at the Delhi airport making it a front-runner option for the brand lovers. According to the duty- free services officials, their sales have gone up by 30 to 35 per cent with the EMI option gaining popularity.

Sources said in the first half of the year, the duty-free sales at the Delhi airport have netted over Rs 450 crore, which is about 20 to 25 per cent more than the last year's profit.
