Tiruchi: Malindo Air, Malaysia’s hybrid airline, launched a twice-a-week service on the Penang-Tiruchi-Penang sector on Saturday.
The flights would be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airline would operate a Boeing 737-900 ER aircraft with 180 seats on the sector. The flight would depart from Penang at 8.30 p.m. and arrive here at 9.40 p.m. The return flight will depart from Tiruchi at 10.30 p.m. and reach Penang at 4.45 a.m. (all times local) the next day. The airline connects Tiruchi with Kuala Lumpur.
