Panaji: Chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar said the state government will reply on Monday to all 13 queries raised by the ministry of environment, forest and climate change on the Greenfield airport at Mopa.
He told STOI that he had a meeting with civil aviation director Suresh Shanbhogue who has assured him that the directorate has already answered the queries and will submit the same to the ministry on Monday.
The ministry's expert appraisal committee recently deferred granting an EC to the project following a representation by an NGO.
Calling the queries "minor", Parsekar lauded the ministry for doing a good job in asking the state government to react to the queries. "The EC has not been rejected, it has only been deferred by another 45 days," he said.
