Sportstars to give etiquette lessons to rude airport staff

New Delhi: Those of you who ever wished that somebody could tame rude security staff at airports, it is time to heave a sigh of relief.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which mans airports across the country, is planning to rope in sports icons like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Viswanathan Anand and Dhanraj Pillay to give airport officials and security personnel tips on proper behaviour and etiquette.
Famous personalities from other walks of life will also be engaged to ensure good behaviour by CISF men and women posted at airports, including the one in Delhi. The move comes after in-house training failed.
According to a senior CISF official, the decision was taken when junior staff members were seen showing less interest in training sessions conducted by CISF officials. It was also observed that some senior officers were unable to convince their subordinates. "Some even questioned the behaviour of their seniors with passengers," said an official. The CISF top brass to break the monotony.
"Dhoni, Anand, Pillay and Kiran More have been asked to conduct training sessions and motivational programmes for CISF staff posted at airports. These sessions will break the monotony in the force as junior staff members were not showing any interest in sessions conducted by senior officials," a senior official of CISF told Mail Today.
