Air India Jeddah flight postponed by a day due to technical snag

Mumbai: With Air India flight Mumbai-Hyderabad-Jeddah (AI965), which was scheduled to take off from Mumbai airport at 3.25pm on Tuesday, delayed to Wednesday, 12.30 am owing to a technical snag, irate passengers created a ruckus at the terminal.
On Tuesday, AI965 was supposed to fly with 202 passengers including domestic and international passengers. However, according to sources, the aircraft that was supposed to fly was not in working condition and had to be grounded Monday afternoon due to a technical snag. Since the airline did not have any other aircraft to deploy on the route, the flight had to be rescheduled by several hours.
It was about 3 pm on Tuesday when ground staff announced the delay in flight. Till the time of writing, passengers were stuck at AI counters. When The Asian Age approached the official spokesperson of the airline, he said, “We have accommodated all the passengers.”
