Starting Friday, Alliance Air has revised its flight schedule to and from Mysuru citing public demand and to provide better flight connectivity from Bengaluru to the rest of India.
Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, will depart from Bengaluru at 3.35 p.m. and reach Mysuru at 4.15 p.m. It will depart from the city at 4.35 p.m. to reach Bengaluru at 5.15 p.m.
Earlier, the flight would depart from Bengaluru at 6 a.m. to reach Mysuru to 6.40 a.m. and depart from Mysuru at 7 a.m. to reach Bengaluru at 7.40 a.m. Mysuru Airport director M.K. Singh confirmed the change in timings and told The Hindu that the inbound flight to Mysuru did not have much response as it was too early in the day to act as a connecting flight to passengers landing at KIAL at Bengaluru.
Most morning flights land at Bengaluru much later and hence the revised timing may help bolster passenger traffic of the Bengaluru-Mysuru flight, he added.
