Chennai: A 27-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable deployed at the Chennai airport shot himself dead with his service rifle on Thursday afternoon.
Police identified the deceased as Pulak Rajbongshi, hailing from Assam. He was on duty at gate No H 14. He committed suicide in a restroom at the airport.
The reason for his suicide was not known, police said.
