Ahmedabad: Gold worth around Rs 80 lakh was today seized from a passenger from Dubai at Ahmedabad International Airport here, customs officials said.
Three kg gold was concealed in an audio amplifier in a bid to dodge security checks at the airport. The accused Sarfaraz Khan, a resident of Mumbai, arrived here from Dubai through an Emirates flight, a statement by the customs department said.
