Mumbai: Government-owned helicopter company, Pawan Hans, completed 30 years of operations on Thursday. To mark the historic occasion, the company organised an event at its base in Juhu airport.
Since the day is also observed as World White Cane Day, Pawan Hans celebrated their anniversary with students from Kamla Mehta School of Blind, Dadar, who performed an orchestra and sung songs. Pawan Hans operates a varied fleet mix of 54 helicopters across India including the Bombay High oil rigs.
