Pune: A long-pending proposal to expand Pune airport's boundary RPT boundary for better operational capacity has got nod of the defence ministry which has agreed to stretch it by 15 acres, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said today.
After a meeting with Pune district and Air Force officials here, Gadkari told reporters that the proposal for expanding Pune airport's boundary RPT boundary which he had been pursuing, had received approval from Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.
