The black box, which can provide vital clues to the Pawan Hans helicopter accident, has been taken into custody by aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which is investigating the case. Two senior pilots were in the chopper when it went missing a few days ago during a night sortie in the high seas.
Meanwhile, the body of one of the pilots, believed to be Captain T Guha, was recovered by the search and rescue team. Guha's last rights are expected to be performed on Wednesday.
