Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has partnered in the ongoing initiative of Telangana Government for empowerment of women by introducing SHE Cab facility for the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
At a formal event organised today at the airport, SGK Kishore, CEO, GHIAL along with CV Anand, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, handed over the identity cards to the female drivers and flagged off the SHE Cabs at the airport.
SGK Kishore in a statement said, “Hyderabad Airport is delighted to partner in the noble initiative of SHE Cabs Scheme which Telangana has taken up for empowerment of women and safety of women passengers. SHE Cabs have various safety features in place and this service will be popular with the women passengers, especially those who are travelling alone.”
