Mumbai: Spicejet Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 12, 2015, has taken on record that all the Committees of the Board of Directors of the Company i.e. (a) Audit Committee, (b) Stakeholders Relationship Committee, (c) Nomination and Remuneration Committee and (d) Corporate Social Responsibility Committee ceased to exist due to resignations of independent directors on September 21, 2015.
The Company has already initiated the process of appointment of necessary independent directors, and the related application for security clearance has already been made with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India (“MoCA”) as required under the Civil Aviation Requirements.
