32 army men inducted in army aviation corps

The army aviation corps is expanding its technical skills and professional capabilities to the highest order. To become a true combat aviator will call for enhancing of tactical and operational competencies, said Lt gen K H Singh, AVSM, VSM, Commandant Infantry School, Mhow while addressing the aviators, who donned wings at the passing out parade ceremony of the combat aviation course – Serial-24, at the Combat Army Aviation School (CATS) in Nashik on Saturday.

As many as 32 officers were presented the coveted wings to induct them at aviators in the army aviation corps. After having successfully completed ardous training in flying and ground subjects, through the 18 weeks course at training institutes in Allahabad, Jhansi, Amroli, Bangalore and Nashik, the officers hailing from the various arms of the army expressed confidence and eagerness to take on the role and responsibility of army aviators (pilots).
