20 moree students stopped at Chicago Airport, being deported

Hyderabad: Another 20 US-bound Telugu students were stopped at Chicago airport by the immigration officials on Sunday.
They are being sent back to India. The students were heading to a university in Chicago after securing admission through consultants in Hyderabad. Due to the immigration problem that arose last week for the first time nearly 100 students were already sent back. Mostly students from Telugu states are facing immigration rejection problem as they lack basic skills to answer the queries by officials after landing in the US, according to reports.
The External Affairs Ministry has recently issued a notice to aspiring US students to postpone their travel until the issue is resolved. However, the students who already booked their tickets and whose semesters are starting are leaving without taking the government's warning seriously.
Some students are said to have failed to answer the queries at immigration, especially their grilling on part-time jobs. A recent FBI report had cautioned the government against the entry of Indian students in huge numbers stating that they are not coming for studies, but only to do odd jobs. It resulted in a stricter immigration scrutiny.
