3 terror suspects on jihad mission arrested at Nagpur airport

Hyderabad: Three youngsters from the city, who were nabbed at the Nagpur airport on Saturday while they were on their way to Srinagar to take up jihad, were arrested by the Hyderabad police on Sunday evening under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for allegedly trying to join the Islamic State (IS).
They were planning to meet controversial Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi or Hizbul Mujahidden chief Syed Salauddin as they wanted to establish 'Darul Islam' (land of Islam) under the leadership of IS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Police recovered a Dell tab and an Asus mobile phone from the trio_Majid Hasan alias Maaz Hasan, Abdullah Basith and Syed Omar Farooqi Hussain. The investigators claim the two gadgets might be crucial evidence to nail the trio.
The three youngsters were brought to the city from Nagpur by Telangana Counter Intelligence Cell (CIC) investigators on Sunday and later they were handed over to the sleuths of Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Central Crime Station (CCS) for further investigation.
