Lucknow: Flight operations at Amausi airport remained disrupted following thunder and dust storm on Tuesday afternoon. As many as six flights, including two international, got delayed after sharp dip in visibility. According to reports, flights affected were mainly from Delhi. The Jet airways flight-366 from Delhi, scheduled to arrive by 4pm got delayed by more than 3 hours. So was the case with Jet Konnect flight-3921, delayed by almost 3 hours.
An Indigo flight from Mumbai, scheduled to arrive by 4.20pm arrived 45 minutes late as strong winds followed by thunder showers swept the airport area. Air India flight- 431, which was scheduled to arrive by 1.30 pm was delayed by more than one-and-a-half hour.
Among international flights that got delayed because of inclement weather conditions in Lucknow was a Saudi airline flight from Jeddah.
