KOLKATA: Two parking attendants were arrested on the airport premises for allegedly assaulting a driver at the toll gates. Police said that even the arrests could not prevent a protest at around 7 am at the airport by radio cab and commercial vehicle drivers who alleged that they were not being allotted the mandatory 10 minutes to drop or pick up passengers.
According to ADCP (airport), Shivani Tiwari, the drivers held up traffic at the entrance gate for more than 20 minutes forcing passengers to walk from the VIP Road.
