Hyderabad: Drones banned post terror attack warning by IB

On Thursday, the Hyderabad police commissioner Mahendar Reddy has issued orders banning the use of drones from January 8 to February 7. This is after an Intelligence Bureau warning that para-gliders, remote-controlled drones and micro-light aircraft could be used for possible terror attacks in the city.

A report in The New Indian Express states that the commissioner has said that prior permission needs to be taken for the use of remotely-controlled drones or para-gliders or remotely-controlled micro-light aircrafts during this period.
