Dhaka: Customs officials seized a huge amount of sarees and medicine from two flights of Regent Airways at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka today.
Acting on a tip-off, a preventive team of the Dhaka customs house raided a flight from India that landed at the airport around 3:30pm and seized a huge amount of Indian sarees brought illegally, Customs’ assistant commissioner Shahiduzzaman Sarkar told The Daily Star.
