The premier international airport of the State in the capital owned and managed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has been rated the 5th best airport in the world in the 2-5 MPPA (million passenger per annum) category.
The rating is based on the results of the survey on Airport Service Quality (ASQ) carried out by the Airports Council International (ACI), a global non-profit organisation of airport operators. AAI’s Jaipur and Lucknow airports have been rated the world’s first and second best airport in the same MPPA category followed by Goa in fourth position.
