Teen who found possible debris from doomed plane 'tired' of the attention

The South African teenager who discovered what might be a piece of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 will be handing it over to officials.
In spite of it initially being deemed as rubbish by his uncle‚ who said he was bringing a piece of boat into the house‚ Liam Lotter told 5FM’s Nick Hamman that he decided to lug the piece home all the way from Mozambique where his family was on vacation.
The flight disappeared on March 8‚ 2014‚ while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing‚ with 12 crew and 227 passengers aboard.
Lotter described how he and his cousin found the piece of plane – which is presumed to be part of a wing - last December.
“Pretty much we were just walking around there and my cousin loves airplanes and aviation. We did not realise what we came across‚ so we turned it over with our feet‚ and then we noticed the serial number and the rivet holes where it was attached to the plane‚” Lotter said.
They almost left the piece on the beach‚ but Lotter insisted that they bring it back to the house.
The teenager‚ who is taking the day of school for the handover‚ said that he was bit tired of all the interview request and Skype sessions.
“Actually‚ I want it to go‚ nogal‚ it’s getting out of hand‚ I am tired now‚” he said.
