Delhi flight did not make emergency landing: Indigo

Vadodara: Private carrier Indigo on Sunday clarified that Delhi-bound flight from Vadodara had made a normal landing at the Delhi airport on Saturday night.
The company denied the claims made by passengers that its flight from Vadodara had to land on a temporary runaway at the Delhi airport.
In a statement issued to the media, Indigo confirmed that "6E 488 flight enroute Vadodara to Delhi made a normal landing at the Delhi airport (May 28, 2016) at 10.35 pm on runway number 11."
"The flight had landed late due to weather conditions causing air traffic congestion, hence the aircraft was holding overhead for 20 minutes," the statement said.
