The FDA has issued a notice to chemist chain Apollo Pharmacy for selling drugs without prescription to passengers at the city airport’s T2. “The chemist was issued a show-cause notice and action will be taken against them,” said Mumbai District Joint Commissioner for drugs, B R Masal. A letter was also sent to the AAI, claiming the shops were selling Schedule H and H1 drugs without sales invoices.
