Indigo airlines seeks slots to operate international flights from Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The Indigo airlines has officially applied for slots to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Airports Authority of India (AAI) to start operating international flights from Chandigarh.
According to sources in IndiGo airlines, the airlines authority has applied for slots to both the offices a few days ago. “We have stated to start international operations from Chandigarh to Dubai on September 15. From our side, the departure has been mentioned as 4.15 pm,” said a Delhi-based IndiGo official.”
“Now, it has to be cleared by the DGCA and AII,” added the official.

Sharing details of the plan, an official said that the flight will come from Delhi and then will go to Dubai from Chandigarh airport.
