Monika Khangembam reacts on racism row says that CCTV camera could provide crucial footage

In an exclusive telephonic conversation with TNT-The Northeast Today,Monika Khangembam has stated that she is overwhelmed with the support and response by the people  of the country after she faced which many would state ‘profiling and stereotyping ‘ .

‘I felt hurt and to a certain degree humiliated when the official asked me repeated questions on how many states are there etc, but i did not react because my priority was to get into the aircraft taking me to seoul’
Monika also felt thankful of the prompt response taken by the Minister of External Affair Sushma Swaraj .It is stated from unconfirmed reports that people from the Home affairs may have got in touch with her but for the time being Monika is not speaking about anything on this matter.
‘I don’t want what happened to me to be felt by anyone be it from any part of the country ‘ she also added that the CCTV Camera’s at the IGI Airport should provide details into why this officer took ‘longer’ time interrogating her than others.
I am  sure if the authorities look in the camera’s ,it should be visible that i was slightly irritated as he kept on asking me irrelevant and condescending question’ adding further that there also might be a footage of the lady passenger  nearby smiling away as the authorities kept on asking silly questions.
