Mumbai: AIU officers intercepted a passenger named Manoochehr Safaei holding Iranian passport who arrived at CSI Airport, Mumbai from Iran via Dubai by Flight No. EK 508.
On examining, the passenger was found carrying saffron totally weighing 22 kgs and valued at Rs.26,40,000. The goods were seized and the said passenger was arrested. Further investigation is underway.
