Air India has felicitated a team of 30 students of KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, for their participation in Formula Student Germany 2016, an international designing competition of formula cars made by students’ teams from around the world.
Air India partnered with the students to support their efforts by carrying the car on a complimentary basis on its flight from Mumbai to Frankfurt and back .The team of 30 students was also offered discounted tickets for their travel to Frankfurt to enable them to participate in the competition. The formula race car was also safely transported to be showcased in front of an international audience. The event gave the students an opportunity to display their engineering design excellence and also learn other skills.
