National carrier Air India has created history by being the first ever South Asian brand in the United Kingdom to takeover an entire London bus.
This bus was inaugurated recently by the High Commissioner of India to the UK and has proved to be a hit with the Indian community in London, said an AI official.
“Normally you see big high street designer brands taking over buses, but it is a moment of pride to see an Indian brand doing something like this in central London,” said an AI official.
Led by its Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani, Air India occupies a special place in the global and Indian aviation scenario. It pioneered the aviation in India and its history is synonymous with the history of civil aviation in India.
