The new integrated terminal building of the Chandigarh International Airport has been awarded the Excellence in Built Environment and IBC Trophy for 2014-15 for infrastructure projects of India.
The award was conferred during the inaugural function of 21st Annual Convention of the Indian Building Congress.
The award was presented by Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Urban Development, and on behalf of Airports Authority of India, DK Kamra, General Manager (Engineering-Project) received the award.
