Hyderabad: Customs sleuths at the RGI Airport intercepted a passenger who arrived from Sharjah on Tuesday and seized 50 tola gold worth `15 lakh. They found gold biscuits weighing 50 tola in the trousers pocket of a male passenger.
"The passenger did not declare the gold and opted for `green channel' at the customs screening area. He was not carrying any bills pertaining to the gold purchase," a customs official posted at the RGI Airport told TOI.
