The flag-bearer of Patidar movement in Gujarat, Hardik Patel, was stopped from entering Jaipur city after he landed at the airport from Delhi on Friday. The police took him along with his supporters directly to Udaipur by road.
Patel arrived in the morning and was scheduled to meet some of his relatives at Civil Lines. However, the police forbid him from stepping out of the airport citing orders from top officials. Patel levelled charges against the Rajasthan government and held home minister Gulabchand Kataria responsible for the police action.
