An aircraft carrying Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to Rourkela on Saturday had to be manually pushed by security personnel on the airport apron to make way for Vice-President Hamid Ansari's plane which had been given the same parking bay.
Sources said that a few minutes before Ansari's aircraft was to land, his security personnel noticed Patnaik's aircraft in bay 1. There was very little time left and the CM's aircraft had to be pushed from the spot because there was no towing vehicle."The CM's aircraft had to be pushed to make way for the VP's flight, which was expected to land in five to seven minutes," a CISF member said on condition of anonymity .
