DGCA team assess feasibility of resuming jumbo aircrafts at Karipur airport

The high level delegation from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) conducted inspection at the Karipur airport on Monday to assess the viability for resumption of operation of wide- bodied aircraft at the airport.
The delegation comprised regional director of the DGCA Manoj Bokade and AAI General Manager Rakesh Singh who inspected the airport runway and related facilities.
Airport director K Janardhanan said that DGCA has completed the inspection and the team would present its report to the authorities soon.
