Flight operations at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport in Kolkata were disrupted for several hours today morning due to immense fog.
The dense fog caused poor visibility at runways, compelling authorities to delay the first set of morning flights for more than two hours.
For flight operations to commence, minimum visibility requirement is 350 meters, whereas, visibility today morning was only 50 meters.
