1.235 kg smuggled gold intercepted in Mumbai Airport

The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Mumbai customs intercepted a passenger at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and recovered 1.235 kg gold worth Rs 32 lakh concealed in the periphery of a mini vacuum cleaner.
The officers intercepted a passenger named Thayyil Majeed holding Indian passport and who arrived from Dubai in an Indigo flight.
