AirAsia apologises for flight delay

Bengaluru: AirAsia India on Friday said the hoax bomb threat call to the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) here on Wednesday had delayed its flight I5 1129 by seven hours.
The incident had caused enormous inconvenience to its 160 passengers, AirAsia said in a release.

The airline said: “AirAsia India deeply apologises for the inconvenience caused by this incident to its guests, and finds it of utmost importance to call out the sheer insensitive attitude of the culprits who are being interrogated by the police.”
