Air Costa(LB, Vijayawada) has announced it has temporarily suspended all flight operations effective immediately.
In a statement issued to the Indian press on Tuesday, February 28, a spokesman said the airline had failed to resolve unspecified “financial issues” with GECAS from which it leases four EMB-190s.
“We are trying to resolve the issue," he was quoted by the PTI News agency. "We are also in advanced stage of talks for fund infusion in the airline."
Services are expected to remain suspended until Wednesday, March 1, at the earliest.
