Against the backdrop of train services taking a hit due to law and order problem in Punjab and Haryana, Indigo Airlines may run additional Jammu-Delhi flight tomorrow to clear the rush of stranded passengers in Jammu.
''We had received a request from the Indigo Airlines regarding running of additional flight from Jammu to Delhi and we have given nod to them,'' V K Gautam, Station Director, Jammu Airport here told UNI.
He said the proposal was moved by the Airlines in view of passengers stranded at Jammu Tawi Railway Station due to cancellation of some of the trains and affected rail service.
''We have no objection in allowing the airlines want to run additional flight to clear the rush,'' he added.
