Three held with fake PoE certificates at Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad: Immigration officials on Tuesday nabbed three persons at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on charges of travelling with fake Protector of Emigrants’ (PoE) certificates.
The trio was about to board a flight to Doha when authorities checked their documents and found duplicate PoE certificates and handed them over to the RGIA police. The three, hailing from Kadapa, were going to Doha to work in private companies.
RGIA Sub-Inspector Ch Dhanunjaya said a case under Sections 420 (Cheating), 468 (Forgery) and 471 (Using as genuine a forged 1[document or electronic record]) of IPC was registered against the passengers, who were later remanded in judicial custody.
