Man gets stuck in airport restroom

Thiruvananthapuram: In a bizarre incident, Sabu George, an air passenger, found himself stuck in the restroom of Terminal II of Trivandrum International Airport for nearly half an hour on Monday.
A frequent traveller and resident of Delhi, Sabu arrived at the airport around 4.30pm. He was leaving for Delhi in the Air India flight scheduled to depart at 7.10pm.
After completing check-in procedure, he went to the lounge area in the terminal. “I entered the rest room, but I was not able to open the door from inside. I shouted for help, but no one heard me as the lounge is located in a remote area in the terminal. As there were no helpline or other contact numbers displayed in the place I searched for the helpline number on Google on my mobile and found it. I tried to call the number several times for next 15 minutes, but, only found an engaged tone at the other end,” said Sabu.
“I tried hard to force open the door and it opened after much pushing and kicking for about 25 minutes,” he said minutes ahead of boarding his flight to Delhi.
